About Me

Hello there! I'm a 29 year old doc married to my wonderful 34 year old doc hubby and we're just getting to know the stress and frustration of infertility.  Despite being docs we don't know much about infertility and we get to learn the fun way- by experiencing it ourselves!  Going through our own medical problems has been both humbling and eye opening.  Hopefully I will come out of this a better person and physician. I'm keeping this blog anonymous for now seeing as although I have told most of my good friends of our difficulties, my mom, the rest of our families and other important people in our lives do not yet know about our struggles and I'd like to keep it that way for the time being. Pressure is enough as it is without the pressure of them knowing that we're broken. My hope is that this blog will help me: 1. Have a way to express myself throughout this process without bogging down my friends who are already with child or childless but perfectly content 2. Try to be more positive 3. Get through this without going completely insane This is therapy for those who don't have time for actual therapy and for those for whom writing is more cathartic than lying on a couch spilling your guts to  a total stranger. Maybe you are strangers too, but strangers I feel safe with.
